Jewelry Care
Keep your bracelet beautiful
Natural stone and elastic cord reward a little attention. A few simple habits will keep your Crystafy bracelet looking — and feeling — like the day you designed it.
Caring for your bracelet
Everyday wear
Put your bracelet on last, after lotion, perfume, and hairspray, and take it off first at the end of the day. Try not to snag it on clothing or hard surfaces.
Cleaning your bracelet
Wipe the beads gently with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth. Avoid soaking, ultrasonic cleaners, and chemical jewelry dips — many natural stones are porous and can dull or discolor.
Storing your bracelet
Store it flat, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep it separate from other jewelry so harder stones and metal don't scratch softer beads. Prolonged sunlight can fade some stones over time.
Water, heat & chemicals
Remove your bracelet before showering, swimming, exercising, or cleaning. Water, sweat, chlorine, and household chemicals can weaken the cord and damage natural stone and metal finishes.
Caring for the elastic cord
Roll the bracelet on and off over your hand rather than pulling it wide open. Over-stretching is the fastest way to shorten an elastic cord's life.
If it loosens or needs repair
Elastic naturally relaxes a little with wear. If your cord ever loosens or you have any concern about a piece, email us at info@crystafy.com and we will do our best to help.
